Papa… will I die?
Those were the heart-stopping words my 3-year-old daughter Anaya asked me one night, her tiny eyes filled with fear and confusion.

My name is Rahees Khan, and Anaya is my only child — my little bundle of joy, my reason to smile. At just three years old, she is full of innocence, curiosity, and dreams that are only beginning to bloom. She loves colors, giggles at the smallest things, and runs to me every evening when I come home from work.

But now… she barely has the strength to walk into my arms.

It all began a few months ago. Anaya started getting tired easily, her skin turned unusually pale, and small bruises began appearing on her body. This is a rare and life-threatening disorder where her bone marrow has almost stopped producing blood cells. Without enough blood cells, her tiny body cannot fight infections, stop bleeding, or carry enough oxygen to survive. The doctors told us there is only one cure — an urgent bone marrow transplant.

The cost of this life-saving treatment is ₹41,00,000. We have already used up our savings, sold family jewelry, and borrowed from friends. Even then, we are far from reaching the total amount. Today, we have managed to collect ₹17,05,678, but we have only 21 days left to arrange the rest before her condition worsens beyond hope.

As a father, I feel helpless. I hold her close every night, wondering if I will be able to keep my promise to protect her. The thought of losing her — just because I couldn’t gather enough money — is unbearable.
