About the Fundraiser
This appeal is part of our ongoing “Critical Medical Aid Program”, focusing on urgent cases where immediate intervention can save lives. One such heartbreaking case is that of Master Aarav Mehta, a bright and loving 6-year-old boy diagnosed with end-stage congenital heart disease, a severe and life-threatening condition that has left his heart functioning at less than 20% capacity.

Aarav’s Story
Aarav has always been full of energy and dreams, but over the past year, his health has deteriorated rapidly. He now struggles to breathe, even while resting, and has been admitted to Fortis Hospital, Mumbai, where cardiologists have confirmed that the only cure is an urgent heart transplant. Without this surgery, Aarav’s chances of survival are extremely slim.

Abhilasha Foundation is a trusted NGO working tirelessly to improve the lives of underprivileged children and marginalized communities. Our mission covers Education, Healthcare, Nutrition, Women Empowerment, Orphanage Support, and Medical Aid for children battling severe illnesses. We believe no child should be denied treatment just because their family cannot afford it.

The Urgency
Aarav’s father works as a daily wage labourer and earns barely enough to feed the family. The cost of a heart transplant, including surgery, post-operative care, and medications, is estimated at ₹1.2 crore — an unimaginable sum for them. Every passing day without the surgery increases the risk to his life.
